So, word has come out that during the Tea Party convention Sarah Palin used crib notes scrawled on her hand. This was after she gave a speech which mocked the Obama administration as well as his use of teleprompters. Before this gets to be a big kerfluffle, I think people should just step back and not get into a tizzy about it. I’m sure that there was a perfectly good explanation for it.

Seriously, though, I try not to delve into political discussions because in this climate it depresses the heebiejeebies out of me. This just struck me as funny because if I was ever caught doing this during any of my school years I would have been smacked around. This is so elementary school that it almost isn’t funny.

But it is funny. Because we have someone who thinks that it is fine to bill themself for over $100k a speaking engagement and they need to ‘cheat’. Hell, I would have been less offended if she came and did her Q&A and had index cards with her.

Hell, at least when we did this in school we didn’t make the mistake of waving our hands around so that everyone could see that we were cheating.
