EDIT: Here’s the first round of pictures! The ones from the analog cameras are being developed and will be available early this week – Images from HallowScream 2005
So, my paintball excursion came and went. We had close to 40 people show up and it was a darn good time. I always find it fascinating seeing how people interact with complete strangers. I probably knew only a fifth of the people who had shown up but everyone treated each other like they had known each other for a while. I like it when these things come together. It was nice to see that there were women there this time. Angela, Cory, Anna and for the life of me a blond girl that I didn’t get her name went out and played as well, if not better, than the guys.
I feel pain in places that I didn’t even know I had muscles. Hold it…I didn’t even know I had muscles. My legs are stiff, I have a few good bruises and I am tired like nobody’s business.
Afterwards, Angela and I went out to dinner with Harrison, Matt and James. These three guys were employees of mine when my team at Lockheed was, for me, at its highest peak. It was good to catch up with them. When you’ve made good friends like these time can pass by but you never feel like you’ve missed a beat with them. You just pick up where you left off like nothing’s really changed.
Thanks to everyone for coming out. I feel bad for Jeremy’s gun malfunctioning, for shooting Rob in the ass, and for some people not being able to make it out. Kudos to all who did though. It makes all the headaches getting things together well worth it.
