Updating this was a pain because I thought I forgot to do a dump of the blog database and switched nameservers. Then I couldn’t reach the old site because everything was pointing to my new server so I had to point back to the old server to get a database dump. My home network wasn’t picking up the DNS changes fast enough (yay, Verizon!) even though L3 and the AT&T backbone had it done quickly. So I spent a good portion of last night and today waiting for my DNS entries to propagate…

…when I realized I had a perfectly good full back up sql file sitting on my local box. When I got home from work I decompressed it and imported it into the existing WordPress database. Bada-bing, bada-boom! She’s good to go.
